There are better ways to learn empathy and things of that nature.

But it's not as if I actually have much choice in the matter. [ She didn't sign up for this herself, after all. ] Whether willful or not, I'm stuck here. [ She's rather be back in their kingdom, even if she's just going around to orphanages and arranging science symposiums. But it's not her call. ]

Phew! For a second there, I was beginning to believe the princess would be so heartless as to leave her brother all alone and defenceless again in a camp full of weirdos.
