Derek doesn't reward him with a reply, and instead makes his way down the walkway leading to the docks on the lake. ]

Augh don't you dare!
no subject
But he'll remedy that by stopping at the edge of one dock, hefting him up and giving him a good toss into the water. ]

His telekinesis isn't nearly as good as Derek's. He couldn't just push him off the dock...at least not with his brain. What was decent, however, was his invisibility, and so when he got his limbs back to him after being chucked underwater, he let it sink over him the best he could. Sure, it'd be a few minutes, but it was a few minutes enough for him to grab Derek's ankles and pull, and hard.]

Even with telekinesis and levitation, he doesn't have enough time to get his balance back and to stop himself from falling in the water. ]

[Stiles crows victoriously the minute Derek hits the water, vainly trying to get out of the way fast enough for Derek not to take him out at the same time. He ends up getting shoved back under the water at the sheer force of the actual tank of a man that hit the surface, but he finally forces his way up, spitting water and grinning like a madman.]

Rather than surfacing after him, he stays in the water a moment to remind himself that it is frowned upon to otherwise murder campers. ]
deja vu....
Sure, he's a little shit, but he's not about to let Derek sink. It's Derek.]
Ain't it just.
Who opens his eyes and looks up at him as he dives back down, raising a brow and tipping his chin up at him. Honestly he could probably shove off the lakebed just below him and be able to surface fine in one go, if not pull himself up in a few quick movements of his arms, but the brief second to cool down is sort of required when it comes to dealing with Stiles Stilinski. ]
I finally get to use my pool icons.
Kicking down towards the bottom, he holds out his hand, as if offering help. Well hell, he's not going to let him drown from his own stubbornness. (probably.)]
I surprisingly don't have any.
(To be fair, Stiles is one of the few people that actually challenges him and doesn't back down. And, sometimes, he's all right.)
Sighing out a stream of bubbles, he brings his hand up to take Stiles'. If anything, the moment Stiles tries something again he can immediately give him retribution for it. ]
Just those two for me. uwu
(Sometimes they can sit and eat marshmellows at the fire and make stupid jokes about back home. Whenever that happens, Laura always smiles at him afterwards like a predator. He's not sure if it's good or bad.)
Grasping his forearm, instead of pulling a trick, Stiles kicks off the bottom of the lake to propel them both up towards the surface, grip firm.]
Just enough. uvu
(Whenever that happens, Derek gets the awful feeling that Laura has said or done something where he can't see the day after. It's disconcerting and he doesn't like it, but it doesn't stop him from having the occasional quiet moment with Stiles.)
And just like that, Derek is no longer an immovable object in the water. He assists in bringing them upwards with a motion of his free arm and his legs, silently thankful his leather jacket was left back in the guest cabins. ]
uwu
(One time, his mother'd come up behind him and asked if he was planning on asking the Hale boy out. He'd jumped out of his skin and tried to turn off the shift so fast he could still feel her laughing in his ears. )
When he finally surfaces, Stiles takes a gasping breath and coughs loudly, treading water. He lifts a hand to wipe the water from his eyelashes before he looks at Derek, trying to gauge his reaction.]
Welcome back to camp.
[Heh.]
u^u
(It was a completely valid question, sweetheart. Considering everyone and their mothers could tell that Derek and Stiles acted like five year olds on the playground, pushing at and picking on one another until it went a little too far and the culprit felt bad about it.)
Snorting out water as he surfaces, Derek shifts his grip to hold onto Stiles' elbow before his free hand reaches out for the dock to keep them both stable as they tread water. Eying the teen, he exhales loudly and hauls himself seamlessly out of the water and back onto the dock, bringing Stiles up with him once he's got sure footing. ]
Yeah.
chus
Letting Derek tug him back up on to the dock, Stiles let out an overly dramatic cough and went to wring out his shirt, stripping out of the flannel layer on top and trying to shake the water out of it. Aside from the fact that he was drenched, so was Derek. And that was all that mattered.]
How long are you staying this time?
[Grunting, he shucks off his shoes, too, going to wring out his socks. His socks. Cruelty.]
smooch
Derek ignores the couch and unlaces his boots so he can take them off, one by one, to upturn them and dump whatever water there is out of them with an irritated look on his face. It's not as bad as it could be, though, and once he's done with that he sets them on the dock and reaches to take the bottom of his shirt in his hands. ]
Most of the summer, unless I get a mission.
[ He pulls his shirt over his head so he can ring it out. ]
