[ Not that Marshall's ever actually considered it. Then again, he hasn't been in much of a hurry to get his badges. He needs to pick up the pace in the next three years. ]
Might work. [ He finishes tuning as he starts laughing. ] Maybe.

[God they are the worst children ever, but that happens when you have a father like Hunson Abadeer. She leans against him a little, idly plucking at her guitar strings.]

[ They kind of are. Hunson used to have his good moments more often-- occasionally still does?-- but he's reached the point where he's just fed up with their father. Right now, at least, he and his sister are away from him for a couple months.
He mimics her plucking, shifting to let her lean comfortably. ]

[They're both a little fed up with him, so thank god for summer camp. She curls her legs up, resting her guitar against her knees. She couldn't recall the incident, then again maybe she'd been too young.]

[ Praise the gods of summer camp. He tries to think about how long ago that was, thinking it was probably back when his psychic abilities first manifested. She'd been pretty young and easy to distract then. Bringing his legs up, he crosses them Indian style, strumming. ]

[She's not all that surprised really. If it had been around that time, she'd probably been five or six, so no wonder she didn't remember it. She gets herself comfortable, a nameless tune starting to thrum in her throat.]

[ Unfortunately. But at least after the whole psychic thing, and his first summer, they managed to talk the head counselors into letting Marceline come along with Marshall. Plenty of better things to remember. Picking up on the tune, he adjusts his strumming to her melody. ]

[As much as she hated to, she remembered clinging to Marshall when he got home after that summer. She hopes you know she's moving out with you when you move out, bro. Marcie waits a few beats before strumming her own guitar, fingers nimble.]

[ Technically, he could file for emancipation and leave now. But he won't, because he wouldn't be able to take Marceline with him. So, yeah. He knows, sis. Marsh can't help but smile a little as they play, at ease. ]
