[The thing about being a Junior Counselor is that it implies a lot of responsibility, or something like that. Stiles is taking said responsibility by jittering around the camp and trying to get to know some of the new campers. It's his six or seventh summer around here, and after a conversation/pep talk with his mom over being a counselor-ish figure--benefits of mediumship--he's starting to feel a little a better about it. So he approaches, waving a little awkwardly.]

Uh. Heeeyyy. You aren't looking for Mediumship by any really weird, totally convenient coincidence, are you?

[ooc: Junior counselor buddies! /o/ Having said that, I apologize for her response - they'd have been at camp together for years now, and she's failed to get a Mediumship badge twice. Whether he realizes this is another matter.]

[Immediately realizing who he was talking to, he winces, lifting his hands.]

Aw, come on, Aurora, I'm just playing around. Not everybody's got the I See Dead People angle down. Have you ever seen me trying pyrokinesis? It's like a dragon that ate it's weight in sriracha sauce.

[His lips quirk into a grin. It's not like he was trying to be mean, anyway.] Happy summer to you, too.

[She relaxes though, even smiling slightly.] There is a lot of summer left. It may not all be happy.

That really depends on your definition of interesting. Considering I'm 90% positive I don't want to get turned into charcoal, I'll take the dead people.

[Stiles jerks his body in what some might call a spastic movement, but what he calls an eyeroll.] Are you always so pessimistic or is that just a summer thing? Come on, man, camp's starting. It's awesome. We get to teach a bunch of bright eyed and bushy-tailed kids, Mulan style.

I prefer to consider myself realistic. Anything could happen out here, in the woods, in the middle of nowhere...

Your exuberance is nearly catching. I would be lying, though, if I said I wasn't looking forward to camp.

One of the new children has a dog that he claims is a wolf. [Her lips quirk into something between a smile and a smirk.] Of course, it's far too obedient to be wild.

As she talks, Stiles' eyebrows go up a couple inches, and he makes a stupid noise before continuing.] Arooooooo. See, what did I tell you about werewolves. That's kinda awesome, though. Very Boy Who Runs With Wolves-esque. Are you sure it's not just a really huge dog?

That is exactly what it seems to be. I doubt he'd be allowed to keep a service wolf. But he seems rather young, so perhaps it would be best to allow him to keep his illusions for now.
