[ Girl doesn't look too happy to be here. Because she's not. She's pretty vocal about the "psychic stuff" being a bunch of "mumbo jumbo," and the camp a "waste of time to people who have more important responsibilities." Yeah, all in all this is a pretty stressful time of the year for her.

First day in, and she can be spotted wearing a lab coat, her usual crown (it supposedly blocks telepathy, take that telepathics!) and... some vials of particularly volatile-looking chemicals.

Yup. Science is being had at the camp today. ]

What does it look like I'm doing? [ No really he should know. ] I'm attempting to invoke a chemical reaction using varying concentrations of the chemicals we have available here for use in a further experiment.

Iiiit's pretty boring as far as scientific progress is concerned, but I don't have a heck of a lot to work with here. [ Also, one of the vials is now smoking. And smells vaguely of sulfur. Ignore that. ]

It looks like you're going to make a mess. Did you actually think you were going to get away with that combination without practically fumigating the camp or is Marceline's troublemaking rubbing off on you?

[SIIIIGH. He isn't even sure if she's allowed to have that stuff here.]

Relaaaax. I've got this.

[ She looks pretty confident in herself as she swiftly mixes two more chemicals, then dumps the resulting mixture into the sulfuric one just as it starts to bubble - the end result is pink and sparkly and the smoke that comes out is rainbow-colored and smells delicious.

Don't even frickin' ask man this is candy-themed science we're dealing with. ]

[ Walking around and making sure all of the last minute preparations were set and everyone was settling in nicely, Sandy paused as he saw a less-than-pleased looking camper in the corner of his eye. Well, that simply won't do. He padded over, a concerned look on his face. Ready to conjure a question mark (one of the few "letters" he could still form), Sandy paused as he felt a push against his telepathy. Oh dear. This might make things difficult. ]

Can you tell them that I don't need to be here? I keep trying to tell everybody that, but nobody wants to listen. I have a lot of royal duties to attend to back home, and to be honest, wasting an entire summer here is rather counter-productive.

[ Marshall peers down at her from where he's standing on a levitation bubble, hands in his pockets as he balances it back and forth with little movements of his shoulders and feet. Much as he doesn't agree with her vocal mumbo jumbo hullabaloo, he still likes Bubblegum.
