[He leans over to make sure her crown sits just right, and pats her shoulders.]

Just think of it as a well earned vacation.

A vacation? A vacation is, like, a week! Maybe two weeks, if you're pushing it!

Three months is insane!

Bonnibel. That kind of outburst isn't very much like a princess, now is it?

[By the modest church of glob, he was going to run out of excuses for her to be here one day.]

[ Oh glob. She just looks sheepish for a second. ] I'm not trying to make things hard for you.

After all, a princess must know empathy, right? Maybe we're all a bit different here, and maybe you don't... want to be like everyone here, but this is what we must do for the sake of our kingdom.

There are better ways to learn empathy and things of that nature.

But it's not as if I actually have much choice in the matter. [ She didn't sign up for this herself, after all. ] Whether willful or not, I'm stuck here. [ She's rather be back in their kingdom, even if she's just going around to orphanages and arranging science symposiums. But it's not her call. ]

He pulls her close, setting his chin on top of her head. ]

You're being so soooour, princess. I'm starting to think I'll have to stuff you with sweets again. You know they'll only trust us this way- just think of their comfort, at least.

[ This was easier when she wasn't this smart. ]

[ She pulls away from him for a moment, turning to face him. ] That's why I have this crown! [ She pats the jewel atop of it. ] There's no trust issue here! There's no need to be uncomfortable!

[ Okay, it's not the only reason that crown is there, but hey, it's still one of the reasons. ]

[ And back to... not so outburst-y. ]

Psh, you don't have anything to worry about, though. I'm not going anywhere. [ And taking a seat. ] I might not like it, but I'm stuck here, aren't I?

[ He only wishes that a crown meant they would trust them. That, among other things, would be more than algebraic. ]

Phew! For a second there, I was beginning to believe the princess would be so heartless as to leave her brother all alone and defenceless again in a camp full of weirdos.

No way. I'm many things, but I'm not heartless.

Although I'd hardly call you defenseless in any case. Because even if anything did happen, you could have your friend come and bail you out. [ TEASING. She knows he can handle himself. More or less. ]
