The power is out all across camp due to a nasty storm, and everyone's been brought to the lodge for safe keeping! There are candles, flashlights, lanterns, and the gas powered stove, but not much else besides one another. [ 3. ] Tag around with one another! Figure out preexisting CR for characters returning to camp, and get an idea of what new CR you could get! [ 4. ] App all those characters. You can use your threads from this for one of your samples! [ 5. ] Have fun!

Nymeria, to me! Bran's having quiet time right now.

[Still, the other direwolf is now attempting to signal that no, even in the dark, this is clearly her scheduled playtime, as she jumps around Summer and Bran.]

[Technically, Arya should be practicing her Marksmanship now, considering it's the only badge she has besides Basic Braining. She worked hard to earn it last summer, and if you say anything otherwise, she'll shoot you full of little holes. With her brain.

But unfortunately, she's not. She's sitting by the a lantern, polishing her sword by lamplight. Nymeria's curled up next to her, all tuckered out from bounding around the lodge during the entire outage.

Despite her badge in Marksmanship, she's always wanted to have a sword, and she nicked it off the walls of her foster family's elaborate home before coming to camp this summmer. Unfortunately, she's not really skilled with it, only knowing how to give quick jabs. As such, she'd rather be out exploring the camp, sword at her side...but she's stuck in here, grumpy.]

Come to think of it, perhaps you're right.

[It... really is. It's one of many things that bothers Gumball- but he'll change those things one day. Him or Peebs. Or, if they're lucky, both of them.

He slides the box over to check it out.]

[He tilts his head a little before sitting in a chair near the one Gumball's in.]

Stories? ...What kinda stories?

Oh, you know. Stories about home, about your adventures, anything. Telling stories is always fun, don't you think?

[He pauses for a minute, thinking. There are so many different stories he could tell, he doesn't know where to start. But he nods eagerly.]

That was kind of how it was for my father. Papa took to it pretty gracefully, though. [ A smile stays on her face, but Tooth's voice is a little distant, before she refocuses and makes sure he doesn't trip on what she knows is an uneven plank of wood in the floor. It gets everyone, every once in a while. ]

Agent Hale? [ Oh, she thinks she knows where this is going. But she just chuckles with quiet amusement, tilting her head a little at him. That's sort of funny. ] I'll make sure to keep that in mind when I talk to her, promise.

[Lili's technically done her rounds for the evening, currently leaning against a wall in the main room of the Lounge and keeping an eye on things in case someone needs a counselor. When they asked her if she wanted to be a counselor for Whispering Rock, this wasn't something she'd thought would happen. Sure in her time as a junior camper they'd had black outs, but this was probably the first time one had lasted this long. Still, she crossed her arms, legs kicked out in front of her and crossed at the ankle as she watched the bitty campers keep themselves occupied.]

[Have a curious Aussie approaching and taking a break from patrolling the lounge.

He sits nearby, raising a brow with a bit of a smile.]

[ Poking her head out from around the stack of blankets and boxes she's made, Tooth gives him a sheepish but thankful smile. She just has to keep in constant motion, otherwise she'll get a little stir crazy, herself. ]

There's a box on top full of batteries. I don't think it's very stable, to tell you the truth.

[Gumball chuckles good-naturedly.]

Why don't you tell me a few? I'm sure you've got many.

[ Looking up from finishing the regaling tale that he was mostly making up, the Roma teen offers said giant Aussie a crooked grin. ]

Nah, not right now. I'm telling campfire stories, and acting as the campfire substitute.

[ He spreads his gloved hands, sparks of fire at his fingertips. ]

How're things out there?

Aw, y'know, normal. Ev'ryone's got cabin fever's all.

[Snorting, Bunny nods at the flames.]

What kinda tall tales y' been craftin', huh?

[because there is no such thing as a 'little' shock for this psi-shield junior counselor, he screams.

stork flails wildly at his face, trying to get it off without actually touching it. when it finally does hit the ground with a plasticky clatter, he grabs the side of his face where it was and stares into the middle distance, expression slightly glazed.

it takes him a second to realize that the spider was fake. also that he does not have to worry about a necrotic bite rotting off half his face. he leans down, picks up the spider, and glances around with a scowl for the perpetrator.]

[He leans back in his chair, resting his chin in his hand.]

...Have I ever told you 'bout how I started discoverin' my psychic abilities?

[He steps over to the stack and carefully lifts the box off and into his arms, grunting a little.]

S'nice of you to be helpin' everyone out so much. Hopefully though for your sake the power'll come back soon...

[There's a giggle and Marceline, taking note that the jig is up, reappears from where she put her Invisibility skills to good use. Or not good use, depending on your perspective. She's using Levitation as per usual, floating above the floor and completely at ease, not even caring about the fact that she just scared a junior counselor half to death.

That smirk on her face says she's quite pleased with herself too.]

[ Raz grew up in cramped conditions, so this is nothing, but all the complaints he's gotten... ]

Whatever comes to mind. Finished one about a painter that built a tower of cards into the sky. [ 8D ]

We're on a strictly need to know basis. What matters is that he's proud, I guess. [That's right--Tooth's parents. What Stiles knows, he's picked up from copious googling and gossip around the camp; he likes to talk to people and try to learn everything he can about the people around him. But learning about Tooth kind of makes Stiles feel bad, and he swallows his knowledge down in the minute that he stubs his toe on the loose plank, swearing and sidestepping it. Stupid old cabin.

At her final comment he bristles. Man.] No! Not--god, yes, his sister, but not. --Yeah, definitely, totally keep that in mind. She'll really like the company. Sometimes she talks to the kids around camp when they're developing, too. [WHAT A CONVENIENT SUBJECT CHANGE.]

I guess most of th' time they're out runnin' off all the energy.

[That certainly sounds like a story Bunny would have liked. Too bad he missed it- he'll ask about it again later.]
