[One of the psychonaut attaches, sitting out on the dock with his pant-legs rolled us and his feet in the water]

[spoilers I have no idea what I'm doing BUT WOULDN'T HE BE A GREAT COUNSELOR/PSYCHONAUT/THE WORST PERSON TO GIVE PSYCHIC POWERS TO???]

[ Walking around greeting new and old campers alike, Sandy smiled and waved at each passing face. Gotta say hello and make everyone feel welcome! ]

[ Karkat sits on one of the picnic tables outside of the Lodge, hood of his jacket over his head. He looks much like he doesn't want to be here. Anyone assuming so would pretty much be right. He's got headphones in, and music up.]

[ Girl doesn't look too happy to be here. Because she's not. She's pretty vocal about the "psychic stuff" being a bunch of "mumbo jumbo," and the camp a "waste of time to people who have more important responsibilities." Yeah, all in all this is a pretty stressful time of the year for her.

First day in, and she can be spotted wearing a lab coat, her usual crown (it supposedly blocks telepathy, take that telepathics!) and... some vials of particularly volatile-looking chemicals.

Yup. Science is being had at the camp today. ]

[ Age fifteen. Been coming to Whispering Rock for a couple of years now. Will protect you if you're in trouble!!! Even if you're a counselor. ]

[ Here's a tiny first-time camper. He can be found out examining the plant life, or in the lodge reading a book, or wherever. ]

[14. This is his third summer here. He's blind, but isn't going to mention it; since his first summer at Whispering Rock, partially makes up for it with a few different powers.]

[Thirteen years old. This is his second summer here. He fits into nearly any social scene perfectly, but hates being upstaged by anyone and will hold a grudge f o r e v e r and will revenge himself for any perceived slights in the most vicious way he can get away with. Also the adoptive son of an extremely wealthy man, so there's that.]

[There's a BRAND NEW junior camper in town and she's already getting in trouble. Someone should maybe tell her it's not the best idea to be blowing raspberries at the local bears.]

[He's sitting in a tree, dressed all in green, with a blunt wooden sword and shield strapped to his back and... are those cardboard elf ears attached to his hat? They sure are. One leg is hanging of the branch he's on, swinging idly back and forth while he very carefully holds his hand still so the butterfly that's landed on his finger doesn't fly away.

Come bug him?]

[Thirteen-year-old with a tragic haircut, back for another year. He seems to be inordinately fixated on the sky, though--maybe there's something up there?

Or maybe Trowa's just a little weirdo. Whatever, he's standing in the middle of the path.]

[N knows he's supposed to be be attending to his counsellor duties, but he's been distracted by something in the bushes.

Yes, the man squatting in the grass and digging in the brush is a counsellor.

You won't remember him from any previous years, though. Feel free to interrupt him.]

[Annabeth is practising her invisibility, so she's flickering in and out of sight, managing it for a second or two longer each time she tried. Her face is starting to turn red from effort, though, and she's looking a little frazzled.]

Someone, remind me why psychic bears are still a thing round here? [Eddie has to question as he lights a cigarette.] We could do somethin' bout those fuckers.
