TEST DRIVE MEME

[ 1. ] Comment with a character you'd like to test out in the game's setting. Put their name and series in the title! Camp position optional. [ 2. ] Oh no! The power is out all across camp due to a nasty storm, and everyone's been brought to the lodge for safe keeping! There are candles, flashlights, lanterns, and the gas powered stove, but not much else besides one another. [ 3. ] Tag around with one another! Figure out preexisting CR for characters returning to camp, and get an idea of what new CR you could get! [ 4. ] App all those characters. You can use your threads from this for one of your samples! [ 5. ] Have fun!

[Man- as much as he'd rather be outside, it would just have to be storming. Well, no biggie- there had to be something interesting in the lodge to do, right?

...Well, there are less things to do than he expected. Or, well, less things he wanted to do. Now Finn's sitting in a chair in the lounge, but he looks bored out of his mind. If something interesting doesn't happen sooner or later he's going to take matters into his own hands.]

[He wouldn't be alone for long, as Randall plopped down into a nearby bean bag, tossing the flashlight (which, he had thankfully been convinced to switch for the open flame he was carrying around earlier) back and forth in his hands a bit.]

What's the matter? You're not afraid, are you?

[Finn looks up, frowning a bit.]

What? 'Course I'm not afraid! I'm just flippin' bored man.

[Then he sighs, resting his chin in his hand again.]

There's just nothin' to dooo..

[He'd been a bit busy running around helping up until now, because apparently he hadn't noticed that

yeah it's kind of boring in here.]

Er... well, I'm sure the storm will let up soon! [doubtful] There must be something around here to tide you over in the mean time.

[He pauses for a moment, before sighing.]

..I'm just not that into...books or...board games- ...n'stuff like that. ...an' you can only tell stories for so long.

[He chuckles a little, leaning back.]

I guess I just like to go outside n' do stuff too much.

Hah, you're not the only one! Before the downpour started, I was out by the lake trying to identify some of the footprints that had showed up last night.

Didn't quite figure out what they were actually. [It was probably a seagull's, let's be honest.]

Storms can be just as exciting too though! It's just a shame they don't let us out during them. Who knows what sort of things might appear during a torrent like this?!

Yeah, no kiddin'!..

[He tilts his head when he mentions footprints, immediately curious.]

Footprints huh...? I guess with it rainin' like it is they'll be gone before you can go back n'see what they were..

Most likely. [Hmph. And he certainly doesn't sound too happy about that.]

You know, there was a storm like this a few years ago when I was in the middle of digging up something around the GPC. That time though, I decided to sneak out in the middle of the rain to keep looking. Though I got in quite a bit of trouble for it...

Yikes. Yeaah I guess it's not worth gettin' in trouble over..

...but dang, It would have been cool to figure out what made those footprints. S'like a- mystery or somethin'!

Precisely! [Oh well, that got him excited.]

Who knows what's really dwelling in the Lake-- much less what's across the way!

[Now he looks kinda disappointed that he didn't get a chance to look it over.] But I'm sure this won't be our last chance! Perhaps with a bit of patience whatever caused them will return.

[Finn nods eagerly, excited about the thought of tracking down a mysterious creature already.]

Hey- ..if ya go back out to look for footprints again- ...do y'think I....could come too?

[There's not even a moment of hesitation before he responds.]

Of course! I could always use some help tracking down these sort of things.

[...] Er, best not to let the counselors know though, alright?

these two totally need to go out tracking footprints now sometime
