TEST DRIVE MEME

[ 1. ] Comment with a character you'd like to test out in the game's setting. Put their name and series in the title! Camp position optional.
[ 2. ] Oh no! The power is out all across camp due to a nasty storm, and everyone's been brought to the lodge for safe keeping! There are candles, flashlights, lanterns, and the gas powered stove, but not much else besides one another.
[ 3. ] Tag around with one another! Figure out preexisting CR for characters returning to camp, and get an idea of what new CR you could get!
[ 4. ] App all those characters. You can use your threads from this for one of your samples!

Aw, come on, BB, it's fun! Plus, nobody's gonna go run in front of it, and we're totally surrounded by a bunch of psychics.

[Dart waggle.] You wanna play with me?

[And that would be someone maybe a couple years old for a normal newbie, currently hiding in a blanketpile, trying to pretend he doesn't exist.]

[He'd probably do better at hiding if there were other explanations for abominable blanketmonsters than people under them, if he wasn't trying to keep looking out, and if the nearest bunks weren't jittering whenever there was a close-looking lightning strike or someone walking too close by.]

Hmmm...[She wrinkles her nose, thinking. Marshall you're a dork.] Something awesome. Or something I know, I guess.

[He gets readjusted while Tooth shifts it, fixing his grip. Thank god for lacrosse. It's honestly not surprising that Tooth can lift this thing--it's heavy as hell, and he imagines she could probably pick him up if she wanted to. All 147 pounds of him.]

My mom did the same thing. [She even flitted around like her.]

[ She glances down at the game in his hands. Monopoly. ]

Well, we have our own edition of that game in the Candy Kingdom.

It's not very fun, though. I always win, because I start the game owning all of the property. [ It's printed in the Candy Kingdom Edition rulebook. Royalty starts off with all the property. So the only person she can really play in it is her brother. ]

A'ight, let's see...

[He positions himself in front of the board before taking aim, squinting a bit more. Then he throws it with a grunt- frowning when the dart buries itself into the wooden wall above the board entirely.]

Aw what?

[He chuckles, putting it back down. Ok, no Monopoly then.]

..A'ight- well... what else y'got here?

[Glob board games are downright boring to him. Maybe except card wars, but that can get...messy. And he's unsure if that sort of game is even here or not.]

[ Despite the fact she weighs a good thirty, forty pounds less and he has at least a foot on her? Yes, yes she could. ]

There's just a lot to do, and I want to make sure everyone's all right. [ Her smile softens, though. ]

[ Yeah thanks for the reminder. Pffft. ]

I'm not sure that nobody's going to run in front of it, though. You have met Marceline, right? [ Yes, she's insulting Marceline. But no, she doesn't think she'd actually run in front of a dart board.....

.....actually, she might. ]

[Bunny, however, is making rounds and making sure everyone's in the lounge. He's just got some protective habits, shut up. He's nothing like his counsellor.]

[ Sandy is keeping himself occupied by making sure everyone is alright and no one (especially the little campers) are scared by the storm. Later, once everyone is more settled, perhaps he'll start up a game of charades. He is very good at charades. ]

[Hopping up onto the stage with just the slightest ghost of a lev ball visible for a second or two- hey, he's been working on it- Gumball strides over to Marshall's side and leans over.]

Show me which way to go, I can't really see over this thing, jesus, are you sure we have enough water? [There's not much bite to his sarcastic comment as he takes a couple steps forward, looking over at her for a minute. It's not like he doesn't talk to his mom pretty much every day, but it doesn't quite soften the hurt of her being gone.]

[ LSP is so totes bored omg. Can you believe her phone like, died right before the storm??? Uh, how is she supposed to play Angry Birds without her phone?? Whatever, she's got better things to do than demolish evil pigs anyway. Sitting in her seat along the wall, Lumpy idly doodles/writes in a notebook she usually keeps on her person. Who knows, someone could do something Duchess Gummybuns worthy and she's gotta document it for posterity, right?? ]

[ Peebs starts picking up random games, reading their titles, and then discarding the boxes over her shoulder. Hope nobody's walking behind her or something. ]

[ Tooth bumps one of the swinging doors open with her hip, holding it open. ] I thought about becoming a teacher, once. [ A pause, in hesitation. She's got her mediumship badge, and knows he specializes in it, but... ] Is she..?

[ LSP floats over next to him before ~~not~~ gracefully plopping down on the floor in front of him, back against the bit of wall below the window. ]

[He makes a face. Wow, a lot of those games sound either...really lame, or something he wouldn't be able to understand. He smiles a little at Candy Land though- he can't help it.]

Feminine superpowers. [He says that with an absolute straight face. If you'd ever met Lydia Martin, you would understand the phrase feminine superpowers. She could probably lift a truck with her pinky finger.

And then throw it at Stiles. Yeesh.

Edging around the door carefully, he pauses, letting his eyes close for just a second and the subtle shift in his vision activate; out of the corner, he spots a familiar figure and nods, jerking his head towards the right.]

She's always here--well, okay, not always. She's with my dad a lot, but my dad can't see her. [There's a moment of silence as he edges through the door, then snorts.] She says hi.

[Jack's lounging around in a corner on a beanbag with his arms behind his head, one leg crossed over the other as he stares up at the roof. There's nothing really much to do with the power out, even if it would be prime pranking time for the Pyro Cats. A small hummingbird is perched near him, chirping from time to time as he answers back in whistles.]
